Assignment NO 11(DD Data Collection)

Objective:

Take samples from the south side and north side of dome dryer to get more accurate data.

Procedure:

Learning from the previous experiment we have decided to follow the procedure given below,

1. Take 3.5 kg sawdust.
2. Mix 11 liter water in sawdust.
3. Leave the mixture for half an hour.
4. After that do the weight of it.
5. Take 10 gm sample for LOD.
6. Evenly distribute wet sawdust on each plate. As follows, Plate One- 1 kg, Plate Two- 1.5 kg, Plate Three- 2 kg, Plate Four- 2.4 kg, Plate Five-2.6 kg, Plate Six- 2.6 kg.
7. Note down the time when the batch was loaded.
8. From south and north take samples.

I learned how airflow affects drying.
